Festival Coordinator & Program Manager for the Friends of Alaska National Wildlife Refuges

This part-time position (September-May) involves coordination and administration of the Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival, a collaborative effort with the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge and a diversity of community partners plus additional outreach and communications on behalf of the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational and communication skills; will be able to manage their time independently, and will have experience working collaboratively with partners in event and program planning and management. The position is located in the Friends office in the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center in Homer with flexibility to do a portion of the work remotely. This is a part-time position but it is expected to be nearly full-time for two months in the spring. Full job description
