DescriptionVisitor Services Program Support including staffing the King Salmon Interagency Visitor Center and assisting at various short term projects such as World Migratory Bird Day and Alaska Invasive Species Awareness Week. One volunteer is scheduled for July 2 - Aug. 11. We are looking for a 2nd volunteer who preferably can commit to up to two months early May - June with June being the priority.
Skills NeededFederal background check with access to youth. Experience with outreach, education, public speaking, staffing a visitor center, or other complimentary skills
Materials NeededRefuge will provide Required training, Housing, use of refuge vehicle once pass the Defensive Driving Course. Round trip airfare Anchorage to King Salmon for up to two volunteers and $35/day stipend for food.
