DescriptionVolunteers will be assisting a staff member at a radio telemetry station at Tanana Lakes Recreation Area. You would be outdoors all day from 8 to 2. No prior knowledge of radio telemetry is necessary but would be desirable. A staff member will train you on the activities and objectives of the station. This is an annual outdoor school for all Fairbanks 6th grade students. You could volunteer for one day or two or all three. Apply to Friends.
Skills NeededEnjoys working with youth and are comfortable outdoors. If you have radio telemetry knowledge and skills, please put that in your application.
