| Description | Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge needs a part-time visitor center volunteer. If you can work one four-hour shift per week, please consider helping us. You would be working at our visitor center desk, helping people who have questions about the refuge, Homer, and activities in the area. We will train you and make sure you work alongside another experienced person until you are comfortable on your own. This opportunity works best for Homer area residents, as we need help each week.
