Project NamePreparation of Scopes of Work for Refuge Facilities Projects
Project Number372
LocationKing Salmon
DatesImmediately
DurationUntil June 28, 2019
Number of Volunteers Needed1
DescriptionWe are seeking help in preparing two Scopes of Work for facilities projects at our Refuge headquarters in King Salmon. This is a short-turnaround project, as our deadline for submission to our Contracting office (after securing all required approvals) is June 28. While it would be wonderful to have someone volunteer for this project, we are able to pay someone with the appropriate experience if you can accept payment by charge card (via Paypal, etc.). The projects needing Scopes are 1) a site investigation and design for a new dock for boats and float-planes at our headquarters compound on the Naknek River, and 2) a laundry list of minor repairs and upgrades for our staff housing. We can bring you out to King Salmon at our expense to work with our staff and see the facilities and location of the work needed. (If you’ve ever wanted to visit Brooks Camp, it would make an easy side trip on your own time once you were in King Salmon.) If interested, please contact Refuge Manager Susan Alexander by June 7, either by email at susan_alexander@fws.gov, or by phone at 907-246-1200 (office) or 907-469-0431 (cell). Thanks in advance for your interest in working with us!
