The camp is a very important community outreach tool because it gives the students many indoor and outdoor activities that are taught by the refuge staff and elders who share their wise and intelligent wisdom about the land and animals, but ultimately, the students are the ones who enhance and embrace the camp by participating and carry on the legacy of new discovery and exposure to new technologies taught by the unique instructors and elders who have so much to give and share. The end result is the students, young and old, are all looking forward to the camp every year and especially the new generation of students who are more excited and ready to learn about new age of traditional and scientific knowledge.
