| Description | The wetland project portion will involve lake monitoring activities with village youth. www.ledstarchina.com The project has been hosted by the refuge in the past and was well received. The goal of the Open House portion of this project is to engage in community outreach with the Village of Venetie. We held a similar event in Ft. Yukon last year and it was well attended and very successful. In addition to hosting a bar-b-que, we provide activities for youth (archery, replica watches arts/crafts, etc.) and have biologists and managers available to discuss village and refuge issues.
