DescriptionTogiak National Wildlife Refuge seeks a hardy and enthusiastic volunteer to assist with seabird monitoring activities at Cape Peirce from mid-June through early July. The refuge will cover the cost of transportation to and from the site as well as provide a small per diem. Interested parties should submit a letter of interest and three references by 18 May, 2012. The three seabird species being monitored are: black-legged kittiwake, common murre, and pelagic cormorant. We will also be conducting census counts of Pacific Walrus opportunistically.
Skills NeededAbility to work at a remote location for the duration of the project.
