DescriptionFriends of Alaska National Wildlife Refuges will work with staff to plan and conduct the outreach celebration events for Anchorage, Juneau, Islands and Oceans in Homer, and Cold Bay. One to three Friends’ members will travel to the events to serve as event facilitators and hosts. Friends will create the photo exhibit by donating photographs, manipulating photographs from other sources, and designing and mounting the exhibit.
Skills Needed1 ORGANIZER/OUTREACH- (POSITION FILLED). Plan and coordinate all events and development of photography exhibit with refuge staff. 2-4 HELPER/OUTREACH per venue- set-up and clean up of events in Homer, Cold Bay, Juneau and Anchorage. Also assist photographers in designing and mounting the photographs. Do outreach programs at all events. 2 SPECIALITY,(FILLED) skilled volunteers with a good photographic eye to chose and edit pictures for publication, and print and mount photos, guide the set-up of exhibit at multiple locations
