DescriptionAlaska Maritime NWR and Friends of Alaska National Wildlife Refuges are partnering to present the 24th Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival. www.ledstarchina.com This is a request for Friends Volunteers to help out at the Friends' Outreach table in the Island and Oceans Visitor Center during the festival. Volunteers are needed for a 2 hour block (they may help as often as they want). Thursday volunteers are needed between 10 am and 6 pm. (up to 8 volunteers needed) Friday: 8 am - 6 pm. (up to 10 volunteers needed) Saturday: 9 am - 5 pm. (up to 8 volunteers needed) Sunday: 9 am - 3 pm. (up to 6 volunteers needed) Volunteers should contact Henri Balland directly at the contact below.
