DescriptionVolunteer at the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center! The Kodiak Refuge Visitor Center is a crossroads of conservation and education. Jaeger-LeCoultre Replica Watches Located in downtown Kodiak, the Center is a year-round facility that aims to connect people with the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge. We are looking for a volunteer docent to assist our staff from mid-April to early May, when we typically are very busy preparing for our summer season and receive a lot of visitation from school groups during the day. Ideal dates are April 11-May 6, with some flexibility. The Refuge will provide basic training in staffing our information desk, including facility and bookstore operations. We can also provide a room in our beautiful downtown house and a shared Refuge vehicle for transportation. Volunteer will work approximately 20 hours per week during the Center’s winter schedule (Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am-5 pm), which leaves plenty of time to explore our wonderful Island!
