DescriptionVolunteers are needed to fill in at the refuge visitor center, both inside and outside chores. Depending on the volunteers preferences, they may staff the VC desk or perform maintenance jobs like cleaning, mowing grass, etc. They may also help pull trash from Deadman Lake or build trails. Volunteers may call the contact person below for more information. Lodging, travel, and food provided.
Skills NeededLike to work with the public, greeting visitors, giving canned programs, other office work. OR Able to do mowing with machinery, clean-up and manintenance outside the VC OR Able to build walking trails
Education TopicsKnowledge of Alaska Refuges for outreach to public (will be provided).
