DescriptionAnchorage Friends members needed Friends volunteers will work alongside U.S. Fish & Wildlife Servie staff to increase awareness about recreational opportunties on Alaska's National Wildlife Refuges. The Great Alaska Sportsman Show is one of America's most unusual gatherings of men and women who love the great outdoors and the Alaska vendors, exhibitors and experts who seek to equip and prepare them for a season afield. Skills Needed1 OUTREACH/ORGANIZER- Schedule volunteers, communicate logistics and contact FWS Contac. 10-15 HELPOER/OUTREACH Volunteers Shifts include Morning and Afternoon shifts.
Education TopicsVolunteers need general knowledge of Alaska National Wildlife Refuges, hunting and fishing in Alaska and Friends of Alaska National Wildlife Refuges. Great first time volunteer experience to learn more about Alaska National Wildlife Refuges
